HELLO, I'm Monica
I've always considered myself creative, to be creative does not necessarily mean to make a famous painting or play the guitar, sometimes the small details and thoughts are what make you creative.
When growing up, I wanted to be a photographer. So, during my middle school and high school years, I took many courses such as Art, Photography, Intro to Journalism, Woodshop, Intro to mechanical engineering.
Even though I chose a different path in my career, I know being introduced to creative arts taught me essential skills that help my career as a journalist.
As a young girl, sometimes people overestimated my potential to complete my tasks and use equipment, but I always remember that the only way to learn was to put my mind to it.
I knew since the very beginning I wanted to do something where I could express myself, and create unique and useful content.
So, I enrolled in Fashion Journalism. Fashion is something I've always loved...Mix and match clothing, colours, trends and knowing what goes behind the scenes during the creative process...is just FASCINATING!
I wanted to tell stories on different platforms and different formats.
And during the past couple of years, I have been lucky to report on new brands such as Oner Active, assist during photoshoots with Spell Magazine during the July issue with Jourdan Riane, create East London content for Rising East, and create content for my blog.
While these are only a few sentences about myself, my hobbies, and my journey...there is still a lot more to know.
So, I am here to report from the best local news to the best fitness sportswear, and help your brand succed.
